It turned out to be a great day and a perfect session for Grace’s senior portraits. I few weeks ago I was at Long’s Park for Sami’s senior portraits, so I decided to hit up the same park again for this shoot. Long’s Park is perfect for these types of small shoots since there are plenty of areas to neat areas photography. I would have to say that Grace did an awesome job during the shoot and she definitely rocked the session even though it was starting to get hot outside. We incorporated some shots of her with her field hockey stick since that is Grace’s sport of choice. Some of my favorite shots were from the small wooden bridge and the brick building. Enjoy the preview!

Sami’s Senior Portraits at Long’s Park
This past weekend was a busy one which included a wedding on Saturday and senior portraits on Sunday morning. On Sunday I met up with the Weaver Family for a session with Sami. This session was a breeze and Sami really rocked her session. Her infectious smile was what really brought this shoot home. We started the shoot with some shots of Sami and her best friend and then we focused on getting tons of great shots of just Sami. Since she plays field hockey she added some flare into her shots by using her field hockey stick and cleats. Long’s Park is such a huge park that it has tons of great places for photos. We ended the session with a couple quick family portraits. Enjoy the preview!
Julia and Ian ~ The Loft at Landis Creek Wedding
Julia and Ian’s Landis Creek Golf Club wedding was one to remember! This quaint little golf club was the perfect fit for their wedding that was held last Saturday. Julia and Ian are both so fun and outgoing which made taking their pictures a breeze. Their ceremony was held in a catholic church only 5 minutes away from the golf club. This church had one of the most spectacular front facades of a church I had ever been to. We took full advantage of the churches architectural beauty and got a bunch of cool shots. After we arrived at the golf club for the reception, we were personally shuttled around in one of their golf carts so that we could take pictures around the golf course. Congratulation again to the Mr. and Mrs.! Enjoy the preview of their fantastic day.
Jenna and Matt ~ Manor House Wedding
This awesome couple got married at The Manor House at Prophecy Creek last Saturday. It was the perfect summer time wedding and everyone had a blast that day. It was also very humid and hot, which is obviously typical for a summer wedding, but that didn’t seem to bother anyone. The Manor House is always a great place for weddings and has plenty of neat areas for photos. We took advantage of the nice weather and made sure we hit up as many spots for photos as we could. The nighttime festivities were filled with tons of crazy dancing and good times with family and friends. Enjoy this preview from Jenna and Matt’s big day. Congratulations again to the Mr and Mrs!
Kayleigh and John ~ Boathouse Row Engagement Session
Boathouse Row in Philadelphia is one of my favorite places to shoot engagement photos. It is such a great place for photos since it is so large and there are so many different areas with cool architectural structures and neat backgrounds to shoot against. For this session I met up with Kayleigh and John last Saturday morning. It was an overcast day but still very humid though. We trekked around the park in a big circle, hitting up many of the popular photo spots. They were both super fun to work with and we had a great time. Their photos came out pretty amazing and I can’t wait for their New Year’s Eve wedding at the end of this year! Here is just a taste of what went down at Boathouse Row. Enjoy!
Kelsea and Dan ~ Gettysburg Battlefield B&B Wedding
Kelsea and Dan’s wedding was one to remember! It was a great end to this year’s wedding season. Every little detail was perfect and you could tell that they put a lot of work into all of the decoration. The inside of the barn where the reception was held had a beautiful Fall decor setting. It was such a neat experience to be able to photograph a wedding at a place with tons of historical significance. The Bed and Breakfast is literally right next to Gettysburg battlefield and the barn was used as a make-shift hospital during the civil war(yes, men did die in that barn during the war). Kelsea and Dan were both awesome to work with and they were both a lot of fun to be around. Even though the grass was a little wet and muddy from the previous days rain, we were able to get lots of great shots. Enjoy their preview!
Heather and Charlie ~ Meredith Manor Wedding
Last Friday I had the pleasure to spend my day with Heather and Charlie. They tied the knot at the beautiful Meredith Manor in Pottstown. I had never been to Meredith Manor before and the inside reception area was perfect for a smaller, more intimate wedding. Their ceremony was held outside in the garden area under tall trees, so we were shaded from the sun most of the time. Heather and Charlie are so much fun to be around and I was looking forward to their wedding for quite some time.We had great weather, and of course, we got tons of great shots! Charlie sure knows how to bust a move on the dance floor as well! Here is a little preview of their special day. Enjoy!
Jennifer and Matt ~ Manor House at Prophecy Creek Engagement Session
On Sunday I was able to spent some time with this awesome couple – Jennifer and Matt. We met up at the Manor House at Prophecy Creek for their engagement session. They were both really fun to be around and the session went off without a hitch! The weather cooperated and the rain stayed away from us during our session even though it rained a little that same morning. Jennifer and Matt are getting married at the Manor House at Prophecy Creek as well. It was great to explore the grounds and to see where we could potentially go for photos on the day of their wedding. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next July! Enjoy this preview!
Burnett Family ~ Samuel S. Lewis State Park
It was great hanging out with the Burnett family this past Saturday. I met up with Elaine, Walt, TJ and Stephen at Samuel S Lewis State Park. Elaine wanted photos of the family before her oldest son, TJ, went off to college. This park was a great area for photos. There were plenty of boulders and rocks to climb and sit on and woods surrounding the area. They decided to have the session there because it held a lot of memories for Walt. He grew up around that area and would frequently visit the park with family. Enjoy this little preview!
Sarah and Chris ~ Hamilton Club Wedding
Sarah and Chris’ wedding day went off without a hitch and everything from start to finish was perfect. The whole day was laid out perfectly, down to every detail, and even the weather cooperated! I especially love it when the weather is beautiful and cooperates! Sarah and Chris were great to work with and fun to be around. They decided to do a first look at Steinman Park in Lancaster City and then the whole wedding party headed over to Wheatland (James Buchanan House) for the rest of the wedding party photos. Wheatland was a great place for photos because it had tons of cool areas and neat backdrops. Their reception was held at The Hamilton Club in Lancaster. It’s a quaint, little gem located in the heart of the city. Sarah and Chris both went to school at Bucknell University and they had plenty of their fellow Bucknell friends there with them on their special day. Everyone sure knew how to party and have a good time! On another note, they had a small furry friend tag along with them and the whole wedding party all night long. By this, I mean a stuffed animal dog that Chris attached a Go-Pro camera to. They carried it around everywhere they went and it captured every memorable moment of the day for them. I’m sure that will make for one awesome video! Here is a little preview of their special day. Enjoy!
