Boathouse Row in Philadelphia is one of my favorite places to shoot engagement photos. It is such a great place for photos since it is so large and there are so many different areas with cool architectural structures and neat backgrounds to shoot against. For this session I met up with Kayleigh and John last Saturday morning. It was an overcast day but still very humid though. We trekked around the park in a big circle, hitting up many of the popular photo spots. They were both super fun to work with and we had a great time. Their photos came out pretty amazing and I can’t wait for their New Year’s Eve wedding at the end of this year! Here is just a taste of what went down at Boathouse Row. Enjoy!
I couldn’t wait to photograph Christina and Joe’s wedding. This was one of those weddings that I knew was going to be so much fun and one heck of a party! Christina and Joe are both so much fun to be around and they are very down to earth and chill. Everything was perfect that day, including the weather. They were very organized and had every little detail nailed down for their wedding. It was an interesting, awesome, and eclectic mash-up of US flags and Paris’ Eiffel Tower. Since Christina and Joe got engaged in Paris, they incorporated the Eiffel Tower into their reception, using them as center pieces. They also had a larger Eiffel Tower in the cocktail area and incorporated US flags during the ceremony. The Ace Center is a gorgeous venue located on a golf course. Joe is a huge Philadelphia sports fan and also plays golf, so it was fitting to have their wedding there! I really enjoyed being a part of their special day and capturing all of the wonderful memories for them! Here is a little sneak peek into their big day. Enjoy!
I met up with Kelsea and Dan for the first time this past Sunday. We had our initial meet up at their house and then we headed over to Susquehanna State Park, which was really close to their place. I had never been to this park before so I was excited to see what types of photo opportunities it held. It was a beautiful day, but a little on the breezy side. The park was huge and such a great area for photos. One point in the park overlooks the mighty Susquehanna River. What a view that was! Kelsea and Dan were so cool to hang out with and they were both so easy to going. They ended up bringing their furry friend along, so we tried to get some shots of them with their dog as well. I can’t wait for their wedding next October! It will be held in Gettysburg at one of the bed and breakfasts right near the battlefield, which will be an awesome place for photos! Here’s a little sneak peek into their session. Enjoy!
I don’t even know where to start with this awesome couple! Last Saturday I met up with Laura and Matt to celebrate their special day with them in the Newtown Square area. I had previously worked with Matt’s dad a few years ago, so when I first met up with Laura and Matt a few months ago, there was an instant connection. I knew from that point on we were going to have a great time at the wedding. They were so much fun to work with and so genuinely sweet and caring. The love they have for each other was out of this world. The weather was perfect on Saturday, despite the fact that it had rained pretty much every day that week up to their wedding day. There was plenty of sunshine, but it was HOT. Luckily, the ceremony was inside and we only had to go outside for the bridal party photos at a nearby park. The rest of the night was filled with family, friends, dancing and lots of love! Congratulation again Laura and Matt and I hope you are both enjoying your much deserved honeymoon right now! For now, enjoy this little preview of their spectacular day! 🙂
I met Andi and Mark for the first time in September to chat about their wedding, which is coming up in May of next year. A little over a month after I saw them for the first time, we were back together again shooting an engagement session. We met up this past Sunday in Bethlehem for the session and we hit up two great locations in Bethlehem- one was a park and the other was a section of downtown Bethlehem that had some really cool, old buildings. I love this time of year because of all of the beautiful colors that Fall has to offer, and it also makes for some great photos! I really enjoyed getting to know both Andi and Mark during the shoot. They are doing a “Love Rocks” theme for their wedding and we were able to incorporate Mark’s guitars into the shoot. It made for a pretty awesome session! I can’t wait until next May to shoot their wedding. Enjoy this preview!
